Job Summary

Experienced Contract Manager for large-scale data centre and mission-critical developments. Manages the full spectrum of contractual and commercial activities, including contract administration, claims, variations, procurement support and risk management. Works with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams on high-value CSA/MEP packages, ensuring compliance with contract frameworks (FIDIC/NEC) and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

•Contract Administration & Governance: Manage and administer contracts across the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and conditions; oversee contract documentation, including subcontracts, amendments, and change orders; ensure adherence to contract frameworks; provide guidance on contractual obligations, rights, and risk exposure.
•Commercial & Claims Management: Lead assessment and management of variations, claims, and disputes, particularly for MEP and specialist packages; review contractor submissions including EOT, cost claims, and change requests; support negotiation and resolution of commercial issues with contractors and vendors; maintain detailed records to support positions.
•Procurement & Package Management: Support procurement activities including tender documentation, contract terms, and bid evaluations; input on contract strategy for key packages (HVAC, electrical, data centre equipment); ensure contracts align with delivery strategies and timelines.
•Risk & Compliance Management: Identify and manage contractual/commercial risks; ensure governance and compliance standards are met; support risk mitigation through proactive management and issue resolution.
•Stakeholder Management: Act as key contact for contractual matters between clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams; work with project managers, cost managers and engineering teams to ensure alignment; facilitate communication and escalate contractual issues as needed

Key Requirements

•Degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
•Typically 10–15 years of experience in contract management within construction or infrastructure projects
•Strong experience administering contracts for large, complex developments, ideally including data centres or mission-critical facilities
•Solid understanding of contract law and administration, claims and dispute resolution, and commercial risk management
•Experience working with FIDIC, NEC, or similar contract forms
