Key Responsibilities

  • •Contract Administration & Governance: Manage and administer contracts across the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and conditions; oversee contract documentation, including subcontracts, amendments, and change orders; ensure adherence to contract frameworks; provide guidance on contractual obligations, rights, and risk exposure.
  • •Commercial & Claims Management: Lead assessment and management of variations, claims, and disputes, particularly for MEP and specialist packages; review contractor submissions including EOT, cost claims, and change requests; support negotiation and resolution of commercial issues with contractors and vendors; maintain detailed records to support positions.
  • •Procurement & Package Management: Support procurement activities including tender documentation, contract terms, and bid evaluations; input on contract strategy for key packages (HVAC, electrical, data centre equipment); ensure contracts align with delivery strategies and timelines.
  • •Risk & Compliance Management: Identify and manage contractual/commercial risks; ensure governance and compliance standards are met; support risk mitigation through proactive management and issue resolution.
  • •Stakeholder Management: Act as key contact for contractual matters between clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams; work with project managers, cost managers and engineering teams to ensure alignment; facilitate communication and escalate contractual issues as needed

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • •Typically 10–15 years of experience in contract management within construction or infrastructure projects
  • •Strong experience administering contracts for large, complex developments, ideally including data centres or mission-critical facilities
  • •Solid understanding of contract law and administration, claims and dispute resolution, and commercial risk management
  • •Experience working with FIDIC, NEC, or similar contract forms
