Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Chief of Legal Affairs with day-to-day management and operations of the Legal Department, including legal meetings, documentation, and follow-ups.
  • •Implement legal strategy by partnering with internal stakeholders and leading contract drafting and negotiation while delivering high-quality legal support.
  • •Draft, review, update, and oversee legal policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with DFF policies and applicable UAE laws.
  • •Manage the full contract lifecycle (drafting, negotiation, execution, amendments, renewals, and contract change control) and handle prioritization of legal requests and workloads.
  • •Conduct legal and regulatory research, assess risks, escalate significant matters, support audit/compliance monitoring, and coordinate legal engagements with external counsel and government/regulatory bodies.

Key Requirements

  • •A law degree from a recognized university.
  • •Minimum 6 years’ post-qualification legal experience.
  • •Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts and agreements.
  • •Solid experience across corporate and commercial law, information technology contracts, commercial transactions, and intellectual property.
  • •Experience with UAE law is an advantage, including familiarity with UAE government/semi-government procurement and regulatory engagement.
