Key Responsibilities

  • •Locate, learn, and understand brazing instructions from procedures, drawings, and standard work.
  • •Prepare joints and components by cleaning, aligning, and securing parts for brazing.
  • •Perform brazing operations using torches, induction equipment, and other brazing tools while controlling heat and filler metals.
  • •Inspect and verify brazed joints using visual checks, leak tests, and standard work requirements; document results.
  • •Follow all safety and hot-work requirements, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and participate in continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED.
  • •Brazing Certification, Leak Check, and/or Brazer I criteria such as cross-training on 1–4 stations.
  • •Ability to access and follow work instructions and demonstrate basic understanding of 5S principles and operator maintenance.
  • •Demonstrates knowledge/adherence to brazing processes and performs inspections, including hazard identification and safety written level warning or less.
  • •Can recognize and report quality issues and support accurate handling of non-conformances, including completing SOS/EOS checklists and making at least one improvement suggestion.
