Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to a team of 15+ T&D engineers and designers based in Christchurch I Ōtautahi.
  • •Oversee the team’s future work pipeline, client relationships, people development (including retention and recruitment), delivery KPIs, and commercial outcomes.
  • •Shape and strengthen team culture across T&D engineering and design specialists, focusing on purpose, capability, excellence, collaboration, diversity, and teamwork.
  • •Coach, guide, and develop leaders in T&D engineering and design areas of expertise.
  • •Report to the T&D Sector Lead for NZ and collaborate with T&D leadership and peers across NZ, Australia, and globally as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous people leadership as a manager/leader with experience developing capability in an established team.
  • •Experience in technical T&D design, delivery, or client relationship management within the NZ T&D sector.
  • •Commercial mindset, client focus, strong organization, problem-solving, sound judgement, and attention to detail.
  • •Strong time management and ability to balance competing time frames in a multi-discipline consulting environment.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
