Job Summary

Maintain, inspect, and repair JLTV wheeled vehicles and related trailer and material-handling equipment to keep them operationally ready. Perform detailed inspections of engines, transmissions, powertrain, hydraulic and fuel system components; conduct servicing and repairs; and test parts and systems. As the Lead, supervise and train subordinates and complete maintenance administrative tasks, including record-keeping, timekeeping, report drafting/submission, and safety culture enforcement.

•Conduct thorough inspections of wheeled vehicles, including engines, transmissions, power train components, hydraulic systems, and fuel system components.

•Inspect, adjust, and test parts and systems to ensure functionality.
•Supervise and professionally develop subordinates and conduct on-the-job training.
•Handle maintenance administrative tasks, including record-keeping and reporting, and plan work area layout for efficiency and safety.

•10+ years maintenance experience in Mechanical Maintenance or a combination of Mechanical Maintenance and General Technical.
•Ability to climb up the back of JLTV.
•Ability to bring and use own tools.

•Ability to receive a favorable Tier-1 Investigation result and obtain and maintain a CAC.
