Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform welding/brazing and related prep and cleanup tasks (including labeling, cutting, and hardfacing) as part of the manufacturing process.
  • •Use specified welding equipment to support manufacturing of parts and assemblies to meet regulatory requirements.
  • •Maintain welding equipment timely and correctly, including use of lifting devices, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment.
  • •Perform post-work inspection and provide assistance to others as directed.
  • •Follow Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards, including conducting the welding assembly process in accordance with HSE policies, and complete manufacturing math calculations.

Key Requirements

  • •Completion of high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 months of experience.
  • •Perform standard welding operations under direct supervision with an assigned mentor or coach.
  • •Two years of related experience and certification in welding (or equivalent) preferred.
  • •Competent in the use of computers and have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • •Able to read blueprints and drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
