Job Summary

Ensure adherence to site HSE policies and procedures by leading electrical and instrumentation safety risk assessments, developing control measures, and staying current with relevant regulations and standards. Lead incident investigations and corrective actions, run toolbox talks and drills, and manage emergency response plans. Monitor HSE KPIs, perform site inspections, deliver training and safety orientations, and coordinate with project teams to meet local and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure adherence to company HSE policies and procedures and lead the HSE team at site.
•Conduct regular risk assessments for electrical and instrumentation work activities and develop control measures to mitigate risks.
•Lead investigations into electrical and instrumentation-related incidents/accidents and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
•Conduct toolbox talks and deliver training programs; support employee safety orientations.
•Develop and maintain emergency response plans, conduct drills, monitor HSE KPIs, and prepare HSE performance reports for project management.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree/engineering degree or HSE certification (or equivalent).
•Minimum 7–9 years of experience in the oil & gas industry.
•NEBOSH IGC.
•Additional certifications such as IOSH Managing Safely, OSHA, First Aid, or Fire Safety are an advantage.
•Strong knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW), Risk Assessment, HAZID, HAZOP, LOTO, and emergency response procedures.
