Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct day-to-day operation and maintenance activities for the plant facility.
  • •Serve as the primary liaison with the customer on daily operations, including scheduling production levels.
  • •Ensure the facility is operated safely and in an environmentally responsible manner in compliance with regulations and company values.
  • •Develop the annual O&M budget, control expenditures, and schedule/co-ordinate major maintenance and contractor activity to meet production requirements.
  • •Implement and document planned maintenance programs (predictive, preventative, corrective) and provide training for plant personnel on technical, safety, environmental, and supervisory topics.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent with at least 7 years of supervisory/managerial experience in operation, maintenance, and administration of powerhouses, utility systems, chemical processes, or similar plant assets.
  • •Alternatively, an associate’s degree or industry-recognized certificate with at least 5 years supervisory/managerial experience in similar plant assets.
  • •Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with at least 3 years supervisory/managerial experience in similar plant assets.
  • •Ability to develop and manage operating & maintenance budgets and control expenditures within budget.
  • •Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate plant operations and manage multiple priorities.
