Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead structural analysis and design tasks for Kansas and Missouri highway structures with a focus on bridges.
  • •Maintain project scope, design changes, and project budget and schedule for assigned projects.
  • •Mentor, train, and develop staff, including performing QC/QA reviews and mid-year and year-end performance reviews.
  • •Coordinate with project stakeholders and monitor structural staff utilization, forecasting needs with team leads and project managers.
  • •Support business development through client visits, technical proposals, professional society participation, and conference presentations as approved.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • •P.E. registration in Kansas and/or Missouri and ability to acquire in other states.
  • •15+ years’ experience in Structural Engineering with an emphasis on bridges.
  • •Strong technical background in bridge design and roadway design standards (KDOT/MoDOT).
  • •Demonstrated leadership experience managing a design team or personnel.
