Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform NAVAID antenna and component repair and overhaul, including rotary joint and drive motor troubleshooting and repair.
  • •Troubleshoot, repair, and test electronic components and equipment to return unserviceable equipment to serviceable status.
  • •Assemble and install cables, wiring harnesses, circuit cards, and electronic/mechanical systems, including equipment modifications.
  • •Conduct equipment performance analyses and complete adjustment, testing, and certification processes with required documentation.
  • •Perform tower climbing and work at heights (50–750 feet), including NAS/radome installation and maintenance, reporting issues and maintaining required daily travel and billing entries.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of practical experience as an electronic technician, including troubleshooting, repair, assembly, testing, and installation of electrical and electronic systems.
  • •Associate degree in electrical or engineering technology, or completion of equivalent formal technical training.
  • •Ability to produce, review, revise, and interpret technical documents and engineering documentation.
  • •Experience with adjustment, test, and certification processes for equipment/components, including installation of equipment and modifications.
  • •Knowledge of designing, fabricating, assembling, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical/electronic/mechanical systems, subsystems, components, test fixtures, and prototypes.
