Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and develop the capabilities and productivity of a team of Content Review Editors to meet peer review and content integrity targets.
  • •Oversee peer reviewer selection and delivery, including researching and selecting suitable peer reviewers and managing peer review delivery for Taylor & Francis journals.
  • •Ensure compliance with editorial policies and keep the team current on internal and external ethical publication practices.
  • •Maintain and improve quality of reviewer selection, reviewer recruitment, and review report quality through spot-checks and corrective/preventive steps.
  • •Handle team administration and performance management, including workflows, process tracking, resource planning, KPIs, coaching, recruiting, and training new team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Post-graduate qualification (M.Sc, PhD or equivalent) in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Physical Science, or Engineering subjects.
  • •Prior people management experience, including coaching and mentoring.
  • •Experience in academic publishing and peer review processes for journals (desirable).
  • •Strong communication skills (emails, phone, and in-person) with good English spelling and grammar.
  • •Familiarity with process-driven workflows, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks to deadlines.
