Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide general optometry care for NMCSH patients in Dubai.
  • •Perform complete eye examinations and contact lens fittings and necessary tasks.
  • •Assume quality of care and adhere to standards of practice, ethics, and professionalism.
  • •Participate in quality assurance committee, provider, and general staff meetings.
  • •Support supervision/control of the optometry practice and dispensary in conjunction with the Medical Director and Head of the Department.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Optometry (or equivalent/diploma).
  • •At least two (2) years of optometry experience.
  • •Currently licensed in country of origin and has a DHA license to practice in Dubai, UAE.
  • •Fluent in spoken and written English; Arabic language is desirable but not essential.
  • •Follow international guidelines, DHA regulations, and Joint Commission International norms while treating and discharging professional duties.
