Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and deliver creative, multi-channel media engagement activities and campaigns; report performance against targets
  • •Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop a unified approach to increase impact across research, innovation, and education
  • •Use audience insight and analytics to monitor trends, understand audience needs, evaluate performance, and inform communications planning
  • •Create and manage communications content and collaterals across channels (e.g., press releases, publications, infographics, policy briefs) and plan media events
  • •Build relationships with media and stakeholders, identify and support institutional media spokespeople, and prepare media briefing materials; provide line management where relevant

Key Requirements

  • •Degree level (or equivalent) in communications or a closely related field; otherwise significant relevant practical experience
  • •Substantial experience in a Communications/Press/PR role working with the media within a large, complex organisation
  • •Proven news judgement and the ability to plan and deliver multi-channel strategic communications plans
  • •Experience working with the media with proactive successes, including selling stories and experience in crisis communications
  • •Strong writing, communication, interpersonal skills, and project management experience with multiple stakeholders
