Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform precise surveying and setting-out for stormwater and microtunneling works, including shafts, tunnels, pipelines, chambers, and related structures.
  • •Conduct topographic, control, and setting-out surveys for pipelines, shafts, manholes, and associated civil structures.
  • •Establish, verify, and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and reference grids with the contractor’s survey team.
  • •Verify horizontal and vertical alignments (including pipe inverts and tunnel drives) prior to and during construction, and monitor microtunneling drive alignment and breakthrough coordinates.
  • •Ensure accurate survey recordkeeping (field books and digital data), certify survey results for measurement sheets and progress verification, and maintain HSE compliance during field operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 7 years of experience in surveying and setting-out for infrastructure projects, especially stormwater drainage and microtunneling works.
  • •Proven experience with deep pipeline, shaft construction, and tunnel alignment monitoring.
  • •Strong knowledge of coordinate systems, datum control, and vertical alignment verification.
  • •Prior UAE experience (especially Dubai) with familiarity of RTA and DM project procedures.
  • •Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GPS, Total Station, and surveying software, with familiarity with RTA/DM/DEWA standards.
