Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver RMS work packages across multiple NPI/Sustaining Engineering projects for Aerospace Fluid Motion Controls products without impacting schedules.
  • •Influence design to mitigate reliability/safety risks and optimize product performance.
  • •Conduct reliability life testing using Eaton internal test labs and external agencies as appropriate.
  • •Create and/or revise reliability and safety deliverables such as Reliability/Maintainability/Safety Program Plans, functional hazard assessments, system safety analysis, reliability predictions, FMEA/FMECA, FTA, maintainability analysis, testability program plans, BIT analysis, and HALT/RDT.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional and global reliability teams, plan milestones/hours, conduct deliverable reviews, communicate with stakeholders, and provide technical mentoring.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering.
  • •Master’s degree in Reliability Engineering (preferred).
  • •0–1 year (preferred) or 3–4 years experience in Aero RAMS with the bachelor’s degree (per posting).
  • •Experience performing reliability/safety analysis such as FTA/FMEA and reliability statistics, including FRACAS and transforming warranty/field data into life/failure-rate insights.
  • •Familiarity with reliability/safety standards and tools such as RAM Commander, Reliasoft, or Sherlock (preferred).
