Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive hands-on training and perform duties across every area of the distribution center, including Operations, Management, and Purchasing.
  • •Observe experienced employees to learn methods, procedures, and performance standards in a distribution environment.
  • •Shadow contractors/builders, service/maintenance, and retail store customers to learn the swimming pool, irrigation, and landscaping business.
  • •Participate in classroom training sessions covering operations, financials, leadership, human capital management, and operating systems at the EDGEucation Center.
  • •Deliver a comprehensive presentation to senior level management at the end of the 6-month program, plus assist with other duties and special projects as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations, or a related discipline with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
  • •Work experience in a leadership and/or problem-solving role (or relevant distribution/supply chain internships, clubs, volunteer work, athletics, or military leadership).
  • •Desire and ability to work in a distribution warehouse environment.
  • •Results-driven self-starter with strong leadership skills and the ability to lead and develop a team amid rapidly changing priorities.
  • •Willingness and ability to relocate during and after the program (company expense) and travel up to 25% of the time.
