Key Responsibilities

  • •Draft, review, and negotiate technology-related agreements including AI, software licenses and SaaS, cloud/hosting/infrastructure, and professional services/SOW arrangements.
  • •Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation guidelines to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • •Support supply chain management and vendor management processes, including contract lifecycle management and escalation/resolution of complex negotiations.
  • •Assess legal risk and provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on technology contracting matters, including data privacy, cybersecurity, resiliency, and third-party risk considerations.
  • •Stay current on legislation, regulations, and case law affecting technology, privacy, cyber security, and intellectual property; perform legal research and maintain transaction records.

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school and licensed to practice law in good standing.
  • •5 years of post-bar experience supporting legal work on technology contracts, including software licensing/SaaS, cloud and data hosting, data privacy, information security, and AI.
  • •Strong drafting, negotiation, and issue-spotting skills across technology contracting and third-party risk management.
  • •Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders and keep clients informed.
  • •Strong time management and the ability to handle a heavy workload, manage stress, and meet critical deadlines.
