Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform technical reviews of project material specifications, providing comments, clarifications, and identifying risks as needed.
  • •Generate material qualification documents, procurement specifications, and technical reports, ensuring compliance with project specifications and legal requirements.
  • •Develop and maintain technical liaison with vendors and service providers, responding to technical queries and updating supplier/subcontractor profiles, brochures, and catalogs.
  • •Prepare material submittals and subcontractor pre-qualifications, coordinate consultant/client approvals, and prepare comparison sheets for management review.
  • •Track material products and market availability, identify VE (cost savings) opportunities, and support HSE initiatives and incident reporting/resolution.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years total experience and 6+ years relevant experience in materials engineering for construction projects.
  • •3 years of GCC experience (preferred).
  • •Knowledge of local and international specification codes and ability to study contract documents for exact requirements.
  • •Experience in product specification and material testing methodology for civil/architectural scopes.
  • •Strong skills in research, detail orientation, and problem-solving, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
