Key Responsibilities

  • •Review client-facing marketing and financial promotions for MiFID II/MFSA compliance across multiple channels and prepare items for approval.
  • •Maintain advertising and marketing approval registers and support required notifications to the MFSA.
  • •Administer end-to-end complaints intake, triage, investigation, customer responses within deadlines, and escalation/remediation follow-up.
  • •Support trade and transaction reporting obligations including data collection/validation, return preparation, sign-off coordination, submission, and evidence retention.
  • •Conduct compliance monitoring programme testing, document findings, track remediation to closure, maintain the monitoring calendar, and support policy/process updates.

Key Requirements

  • •Prior experience in a compliance, legal, regulatory, or regulatory-operations role within financial services, investment firms, fintech, or the crypto-asset sector.
  • •Strong understanding of MFSA regulatory framework, MiFID II conduct-of-business requirements, and EU financial services regulation.
  • •Ability to manage a high, recurring caseload to deadline while prioritising competing regulatory deadlines.
  • •High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate, complete, audit-ready records and registers.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business administration, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
