Lead the planning, installation, commissioning and execution of stamping equipment to ensure efficient, reliable production of high-volume automotive stamping lines. Key Responsibilities

•Lead planning, installation, commissioning and execution of stamping equipment to ensure efficient and reliable production; drive cross-functional teams during design, fabrication, installation and commissioning phases.
•Coordinate RFQ, feasibility, equipment design, fabrication, installation and commissioning activities; lead technical design and review meetings for stamping equipment.
•Coordinate investment stages with suppliers, mechanical/electrical/automation teams; manage on-site installation and commissioning with equipment integrators.
•Create/modify project schedules (MS Project) and ensure tasks align to milestones; track progress and report updates to executives.
•Develop FAT/SAT requirements, generate RFQs for stamping equipment, and support vendor selection and final approvals.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering – Industrial Equipment Engineering, and at least 5 years of professional experience; a technical Apprenticeship with 10+ years of experience.
•Experience in Project Management / Stamping Engineering in high-volume stamping lines and Greenfield stamping environment.
•Working knowledge of current manufacturing techniques in stamping environments with Servo Tandem Press lines, Laser Blanking Line, crane, scrap conveyor equipment, tooling, metal stamping, assembly and testing.
•Deep knowledge and experience of mechanical, electrical and automation features for stamping equipment; ability to travel internationally.
•Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, SAP, AutoCAD, and 3D Design is a plus; exceptional communication and leadership skills.
