Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and operate core identity services for authentication, authorization, and user lifecycle management.
  • •Architect scalable and secure APIs and unify identity systems across Splunk and Cisco products.
  • •Serve as a subject matter expert on modern identity protocols and authorization models.
  • •Improve platform security, reliability, and customer trust through impactful identity services.
  • •Explore AI/ML opportunities to automate and enhance identity protection while collaborating cross-functionally to ship solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on C++ and/or Go experience building secure, scalable, high-throughput production services.
  • •Experience designing and operating secure, distributed, fault-tolerant systems.
  • •Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, and token/session lifecycle and authorization models like RBAC and ABAC.
  • •Strong automated testing, debugging, observability, and production-support skills.
