Job Summary

Lead consulting engagements designing modern, scalable payment solutions for financial institutions, fintechs, and internal teams. Drive end-to-end payments architecture across ACH, wire, SWIFT, and real-time rails (RTP, FedNow), perform current-state assessments, and define target operating models aligned to business and regulatory needs. Build API-driven, cloud-ready (or on-prem) platforms, collaborate across stakeholders, and produce solution designs and requirements that meet security, resiliency, compliance, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a payments functional manager designing end-to-end solutions across ACH, wire payments, SWIFT, and real-time payment rails (e.g., RTP, FedNow).
•Lead current-state assessments and define target-state operating models aligned to business and regulatory requirements.
•Design modern, API-driven, cloud-ready and/or on-prem payment platforms, including integration patterns and data flows.
•Provide thought leadership to clients on key industry trends and topics.
•Ensure solutions meet security, resiliency, compliance, and performance standards while producing high-quality artifacts and collaborating with stakeholders, engineers, vendors, and operations teams.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience in payments, banking technology, or financial services systems.
•4+ years of hands-on experience with payment solutions for ACH, wires, SWIFT, and real-time payment rails.
•4+ years of end-to-end payment processing, settlement, reconciliation, and exception handling.
•4+ years designing modern payment solutions using APIs, microservices, and event-driven patterns.
•Ability to rapidly assess client needs and provide fact-based recommendations (target operating model) and translate business requirements into pragmatic solutions.
