Job Summary

Evaluate, market, negotiate, and place commercial insurance new business opportunities for a Select Business Unit’s New Business team. Partner with insurance carriers, underwriters, and internal producer relationships to secure competitive coverage terms, review submissions, obtain and compare quotes, and guide opportunities through placement to binding. Maintain placement data and develop market knowledge, transitioning bound accounts to Account Management for ongoing service.

Key Responsibilities

•Review commercial insurance submissions, evaluate risk exposures, and develop placement strategies to secure competitive coverage.
•Work directly with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and secure competitive coverage solutions.
•Guide opportunities through the placement process from submission to binding, following service model standards and timelines.
•Develop and maintain productive relationships with insurance carriers, underwriters, and internal producer partners.
•Maintain client, broking, and brokerage data files and support program assessment/diagnostics for placement improvements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 60,000 - 65,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5 years of commercial insurance experience within a retail brokerage or independent agency.
•Experience marketing and placing commercial insurance accounts, including E&S Marketplace coverage.
•P&C License required.
•Ability to review submissions, evaluate risk exposures, and identify proper market solutions.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Epic (agency management system) experience preferred.
