Build and maintain backend services for the CEP (Critical Email Products) team within the MSP (Message Security Products) organization. Design and evolve event-driven pipelines using Kafka consumers and Airflow DAGs to process enterprise email traffic reliably. Work across multi-tenant, multi-cloud deployments spanning Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, including FedRAMP environments, while improving service reliability, observability, and operational quality as the product scales.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and maintain backend services powering CEP’s product surface.
•Design and evolve event-driven pipelines (Kafka consumers, Airflow DAGs) to process email traffic reliably at enterprise scale.
•Work across a multi-tenant, multi-cloud deployment footprint (M365 and Google Workspace customers, FedRAMP environments).
•Leverage AI-augmented development tools to explore solutions and deliver reliable production outcomes faster.
•Contribute to service reliability, observability, and operational quality as the team scales its product surface.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of professional software development experience.
•Backend development experience with Python or Golang.
•Experience building scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
•Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
•Strong fundamentals in computer science, data structures, and performance optimization.
