Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver advanced wet utility design tasks and ensure designs and drawings are checked and reviewed to required standards.
  • •Undertake and oversee 1D and 2D hydraulic modelling and wet utility calculations for water infrastructure assets.
  • •Support project delivery by understanding scope and deliverables, coordinating with associates and meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • •Provide technical input and status updates on progress, risks, issues, or changes; attend and contribute to team and project meetings.
  • •Coordinate with design team members and CAD Technicians, and mentor and guide junior and senior engineers in design development and report preparation.

Key Requirements

  • •12–15 years of experience in a consulting firm delivering wet utilities designs and calculations (pumping stations, sewerage and stormwater networks, storage reservoirs, and treatment works).
  • •Strong expertise in WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, and StormCAD, with experience using 1D/2D hydraulic modelling tools.
  • •Awareness of GCC standards and manuals and ability to apply international and regional design codes.
  • •Proficiency with modelling software and supporting calculations using Excel or equivalent tools.
  • •B.Eng in Civil or Environmental Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
