Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead technical onboarding and client implementations across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments, from requirements to running Seqera Platform.
  • •Deploy and configure the infrastructure the Platform runs on, including networking, DNS, TLS/private CAs, IAM and secrets, container runtimes, and required storage.
  • •Work within client security and compliance constraints, guiding changes whether access is full or limited.
  • •Build repeatable, safe deployment tooling and automation with pre-flight checks, tests, documentation, and clear failure modes.
  • •Partner with Sales and Scientific Development on pre-sales and proof-of-concept deployments, and serve as a senior escalation point to turn recurring issues into lasting fixes.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong cloud skills in at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP, with multi-cloud expertise as an advantage.
  • •Confident networking and security knowledge covering TLS/certificate management and IAM/access control, and the ability to explain it to non-experts.
  • •Terraform proficiency; familiarity with other IaC tools such as CloudFormation, Pulumi, or Ansible is a bonus.
  • •Experience with containerization, with Docker and Kubernetes expected and Helm as a plus.
  • •Comfort building shipped tools in Python and Bash, including tests, scanning, and documentation for users beyond yourself.
