Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess, reassess, and collect pertinent patient data; recognize abnormalities and escalate appropriately to ensure safe, effective care.
  • •Develop and evaluate nursing care plans with the interprofessional team and collaborate with patients and bystanders.
  • •Administer medications and treatments, perform wound care, and provide essential life support according to regulatory scope (including BLS and other listed supports).
  • •Manage deteriorating patients using Early Warning System escalation and American Heart Association emergency algorithms; support triage and emergency decision-making.
  • •Maintain compliance with NMC policies, quality/governance activities, safeguarding, infection prevention and control, OSHMS, and accurate electronic health record documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold an appropriate license to work as a registered nurse with the relevant regulatory health authority, with required qualifications and experience.
  • •Manage your own professional re-licensure.
  • •Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider card.
  • •Communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written).
  • •Be willing to work across departments when necessary.
