Key Responsibilities

  • •Report to the Commissioning Manager and support home office deliverables with the Principal Commissioning Engineer.
  • •Participate at site in walk-down inspections, punch listing, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and instrument component issues.
  • •Support commissioning activities including manuals development, commissioning and start-up spares, first fills and consumables, commissioning/start-up procedures, equipment system checks, and function testing.
  • •Resolve operational and maintenance issues during commissioning, start-up, and performance tests; participate in commissioning, start-up, and performance testing.
  • •Supervise craft personnel for site pre-commissioning and commissioning activities and coordinate with other engineers and the client to maintain positive relationships.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering.
  • •8–15 years of oil and gas experience with a major contractor or consultant.
  • •Minimum 5 years’ experience in a chemical, refinery, or oil & gas processing facility, with preferably 2+ years in commissioning and start-up.
  • •Strong understanding of commissioning, completions, and training, plus basic knowledge of construction and operations & maintenance.
  • •Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio; able to communicate technical solutions effectively; willing to travel to international construction sites.
