Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely along required routes while following traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading and unloading equipment using specialized equipment when warranted.
  • •Maintain delivery documentation (invoices and shipping paperwork), perform routine vehicle checks, report malfunctions, and arrange trailers in shipping yards.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or the appropriate chauffeur’s license for the vehicle weight, and be at least 21 years old.
  • •Pass required background and drug testing, including a DOT physical for trucks over 10k lbs.
  • •Ability to operate and transport loads safely while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds and remain seated for prolonged periods in a trailer cab.
  • •Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with professional communication with customers and staff at delivery points.
