Job Summary

Provide on-site supervision of Logging-While-Drilling (LWD) operations, leading tool preparation, data acquisition, log generation, and quality control for customer service delivery. Serve as the lead engineer on most jobs, ensuring customer data is accurate and timely. Perform technical consultation across mud hydraulics, Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) planning, formation evaluation, and drilling tendencies, while coordinating with the directional driller and completing required reports.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise LWD operations on-site, including tool preparations, data acquisition, log generation, and quality control.
•Ensure all customer-provided data is accurate, timely, and meets service quality standards.
•Provide technical consultation covering mud hydraulics, BHA planning, formation evaluation, drilling tendencies, mud system, and BHA dynamics.
•Test tools and equipment before, during, and after each job and identify/correct operational problems to minimize service impact.
•Complete required forms, databases, and reports (including service vouchers, radiation site survey, EJCS, FAD/Correction, and CPI) and ensure BHA assembly as planned.

Key Requirements

•Provide on-site supervision of the LWD process, including tool preparations, data acquisition, log generation, and quality control.
•Minimum of one year of field experience in M/LWD.
•Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.
•Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline is preferred.
•Completion of the basic M/LWD training program.
