Job Summary

Own semiconductor foundry yield performance across the product development lifecycle, partnering with internal teams and foundry customers from testing and validation through NPI and High Volume Manufacturing. Define yield goals and roadmaps, build and maintain yield/defect density projections and predictive models, and root-cause yield signals by analyzing inline and test data (e-test, SORT). Lead investigations, establish correlations for inline control, and drive efficiency and standardization improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the yield point of contact across foundry product development from design through initial High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
•Define yield goals and roadmaps for foundry customer silicon in collaboration with Intel Foundry Services, Technology Development, and Product Integration.
•Develop yield and defect-density projections and yield prediction models, including tracking inline process and non-process changes (changepoints).
•Collaborate with TD Process Integration, Device, Defect Metro, and Lab to identify yield detractors and drive yield enhancement projects.
•Lead investigations and root-cause yield signals; establish correlations between critical inline metrics and yield for inline control and end-of-line projection.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 155,520 - 255,200 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering (or related) with 6+ years of relevant work experience, or Master’s with 4+ years, or PhD with 2+ years.
•Relevant experience in semiconductor yield engineering.
•Experience with analysis of post-silicon yield signal and root-cause work.
•3+ years of direct semiconductor yield analysis and engineering experience.
•3+ years of experience interpreting product data (inline, e-test, SORT) to identify failure root cause and drive solutions.
