Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver and coordinate design packages on complex infrastructure programmes, managing and leading major infrastructure projects.
  • •Ensure all deliverables meet AECOM quality standards and are managed effectively to time and budget.
  • •Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, interrogate outputs from other disciplines, and guide clients, local authorities, and stakeholders through technical challenges.
  • •Oversee project documentation, technical reports, and design submissions aligned with Irish and European standards, including planning and tender documentation and construction supervision activities.
  • •Conduct and review site inspections, surveys, and technical assessments; ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance; and support resource planning, programme management, and risk mitigation.

Key Requirements

  • •An Irish National Framework Qualification Level 8 (Honours Degree) or higher in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent recognised international degree.
  • •3-5 years of relevant experience delivering and designing major roads, major public transport, light rail, rail, or enabling works projects.
  • •Proven track record leading project teams and delivering to programme and budget.
  • •Strong knowledge of Irish and European design standards, planning processes, and statutory requirements.
  • •Experience preparing and reviewing technical reports, drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
