Job Summary

Own progress measurement to interpret complex cost, progress, and schedule challenges and recommend best practices for the Golden Pass LNG project. Lead setup and implementation of project controls systems, ensure accuracy of project controls reporting, and analyze cost forecasting and trends to drive recovery plans. Support WBS development, change management, monthly forecasts, and cost spread/cash flow planning while collaborating on proposals, reviews, and risk processes.

Key Responsibilities

•Implement McDermott processes and systems, including setup and implementation of project controls systems.
•Lead complex cost/progress/schedule problem solving, including the progress measurement system and progress management guidance.
•Drive forecasting and reporting: analyze cost forecasting/trending, lead preparation and review of monthly forecast, and ensure reporting accuracy.
•Support project planning and execution: develop WBS, implement internal/contractual requirements via the project controls execution plan, and build cost estimates for change management.
•Lead project controls team and governance activities: supervise junior personnel, support risk/opportunity processes, run weekly/monthly cost & schedule reviews, and produce weekly/monthly/quarterly reports.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Construction Management (preferred).
•10+ years of experience in Project Controls.
•Experience on a large-scale mega-project in Oil & Gas and Offshore Construction.
•Expertise in progress measurement and critical project management concepts such as EVM, project planning, risk analysis, and progress measurement.
•Experience with Microsoft Office applications; understanding of cost and progress management systems; JDE Edwards knowledge is a plus.
