Job Summary

Lead product-level technical delivery as the “Technical Product Owner,” partnering with the Design Manager and serving as the primary technical contact between engineering and category teams. Own functional and non-functional requirements (including safety, regulatory compliance, and reliability), guide trade-off decisions across teams, and mentor junior engineers. Drive technical governance through reviews, milestone readiness reporting, and interface ownership to ensure risks and technical issues are closed on time.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate as the “Technical Product Owner,” partnering with the Design Manager to deliver overall technical maturity for the project.
•Own product-level functional requirements and non-functional attributes/constraints such as safety, regulatory compliance, and reliability.
•Lead complex, product-level trade-off discussions and enable correct engineering solutions across multiple functional teams.
•Collaborate on development strategy with peers in the project team and ensure complete ownership of systems/sub-systems and clear interfaces.
•Chair and lead technical reviews, and periodically review/report technical readiness, completeness of requirements/specifications, and closure of technical risks/issues.

Key Requirements

•First degree in mechanical/mechatronics/electrical/electronics engineering (depending on the product/category).
•Minimum 6 years of experience in a product development environment, ideally from early stage through the start of mass production.
•Deep subject matter expertise in core engineering disciplines, with ability to collaborate and lead cross-functional work-packages to deliver projects.
•Sound knowledge of best practices in technical specifications, risk, and issue management.
•Experience using Siemens Teamcenter is desirable, plus strong communication and reporting to all levels including C-level executives.
