Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure RF efforts meet program goals and requirements.
  • •Design and develop receivers, converters, and signal processors, including RF or mixed-signal circuit card assemblies (CCAs).
  • •Create and ensure review of CCA documentation such as analyses, schematics, interface drawings, test plans, and specifications.
  • •Perform schematic capture and review RF routing; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (power, digital, mechanical, etc.).
  • •Conduct lab-based component characterization and comprehensive RF CCA/module checkout to validate against the requirements matrix.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field.
  • •Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in advanced RF technologies such as receivers, ADCs, downconverters, and frequency synthesizers.
  • •Experience with RF, analog, digital, and power electronics design methodologies, including integration & test, simulation, and analysis of RF products.
  • •Experience using tools such as signal generator, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, Xpedition Schematic/Layout Tool (or equivalent), SystemVue/Genesys (or equivalent), Advanced Design System (ADS) (or equivalent), and HFSS (or equivalent).
  • •Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start; ability to obtain interim clearance and special program access after start is required.
