Job Function: Transportation & Fleet Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • •Support service center and fleet vessels to ensure compliance with SMS/BMS requirements and applicable safety/environmental procedures, including permit-to-work and energy isolation.
  • •Participate in maintaining the Company Maintenance Management System and ensure records are kept in a timely manner.
  • •Troubleshoot DP hardware, PLCs, fieldbus networks, and electronics control loops; diagnose issues and coordinate corrective action with OEMs.
  • •Maintain and repair onboard electronic and instrumentation systems, including installation, calibration, and modifications; rebuild printed circuit boards.
  • •Assist with offshore visits as required, monitor vessel technical performance and open defects, and support coaching, development, and training for fleet ETOs.

Key Requirements

  • •Ensure compliance with company procedures, policies, and standards including ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 9001:2015, plus ISM/MLC/ISPS and legal requirements.
  • •Be conversant with Programmable Logic Computer (PLC) systems and networking drive control systems.
  • •Troubleshoot DP hardware and diagnose Programmable Logic Controllers and fieldbus networks, including communication errors.
  • •Perform electronic/electrical maintenance work in line with company policies, including repairs, calibrations, modifications, and rebuilding printed circuit boards.
  • •Support HSE/Safety programs and complete training requirements as directed by the Technical Superintendent.
