Job Summary

Lead and implement QA/QC systems and project quality plans for an oil & gas project, ensuring compliance with OQ specifications, standards, procedures, and best practices. Manage contractor/vendor quality plans, inspection and testing procedures, audits, non-conformance/corrective actions, and QA/QC reporting. Coordinate and conduct owner reviews, inspections, and pre-inspection meetings, while leading a team of QA/QC engineers/inspectors and ensuring quality KPIs are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to implementation of QA/QC systems, processes, and activities per the OQ Project Quality Management Plan.
•Maintain and update the project quality management system and project quality plan for all project activities.
•Review and approve contractor quality plans, programs, project quality documents, coordination procedures, and prepare quality assurance procedures.
•Plan and implement owner reviews of vendor/EPC QA/QC documents and inspection/testing procedures; engage and manage third-party inspection (TPI) activities.
•Develop audit plans, conduct project quality audits, review findings, implement corrective actions/non-conformance systems, monitor quality performance, and lead a team of QA/QC engineers/inspectors.

Key Requirements

•University degree in Mechanical/ Chemical or equivalent engineering discipline.
•Certified Lead Auditor for management systems including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or OHSAS 18001.
•Discipline-specific certifications required (e.g., Welding, NDT, Coating).
•Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience in the oil and petrochemical industry across engineering, procurement, and construction phases, including inspection/testing at manufacturing and construction sites.
•Experience with API 650 storage tanks and process piping/onshore pipeline/pumps/package equipment; offshore experience includes SBM/PLEM, subsea pipeline, and fiber optic cable.
