Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide strategic oversight of the combined Cluster portfolio across all Cluster entities.
  • •Provide senior oversight of major programmes and initiatives, ensuring progress against agreed outcomes and commitments and resolving significant delivery issues.
  • •Set and maintain governance and performance management across the Cluster portfolio, ensuring visibility, accountability, and consistent reporting.
  • •Deliver executive insight on portfolio performance, priorities, risks, and areas requiring intervention to support timely decision-making.
  • •Strengthen PMO capability, standards, and ways of working across the Cluster, driving continuous improvement in portfolio discipline and programme management maturity.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project/Programme Management, Strategy, or a related discipline.
  • •Experience within defence, technology, engineering, government, or other highly regulated, programme-intensive sectors, including Group/enterprise-level operating experience.
  • •15+ years’ experience across programme management, portfolio management, PMO, strategy execution, or transformation, including senior leadership in a complex, multi-entity environment.
  • •Recognised project or programme management certification such as PMP, MSP, PgMP, or equivalent.
  • •Preferred: Master’s degree, MBA, or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
