Job Summary

Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up air-cooled and water-cooled chiller and advanced HVAC systems for mission-critical data centers. Work on-site at customer locations as the direct customer contact, using software, blueprints, and hand tools to diagnose and restore uptime. Coordinate installations and repairs with service leaders and project managers, support zero-downtime problem solving, enforce safety, and provide coaching to less experienced technicians.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with service leaders/project managers and customers to forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site installation and repairs.
•Serve as direct customer contact for assigned projects, identifying, diagnosing, and repairing chiller equipment and systems to ensure customer satisfaction.
•Use software and tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
•Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
•Support mission-critical activities including procedural documentation, problem solving in a zero-downtime environment, and enforcing safety standards.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED equivalent.
•5+ years of HVAC experience with systems-level knowledge.
•Proven experience commissioning and starting air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, including commissioning procedures and post-start checks.

•Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
