Job Summary

Oversee survey projects for a Geomatics Surveying team, including directing field and office staff, scheduling field crews, and managing project tracking and QA/QC. Prepare survey deliverables, reports, estimates, proposals, and process survey data with boundary determinations under guidance and approval of a PLS. Coordinate with internal engineering teams, external clients, and subconsultants, while supporting recruitment, mentoring, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee the production of survey plans and deliverables, schedule and set up field crews, maintain project tracking, and perform QA/QC reviews.
•Prepare survey reports, process and review survey data, and support boundary determinations and adjustments to survey control with guidance and approval of a PLS.
•Create estimates and proposals, participate in business development, and handle billing and account receivables for projects under their name.
•Recruit, mentor, and educate new staff, and support development and implementation of company policies, procedures, and standards.
•Coordinate with internal engineering teams, external clients, and external subconsultants across a range of survey sectors.

Salary: USD 107,000 - 160,290 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics (Land Surveying related fields) with 7–10 years relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree with 8+ years, or 10+ years of land surveying experience in lieu of a degree.
•Prior experience in both the field and office performing a variety of survey work.
•Prior experience managing and maintaining schedules, budgets, staff, and equipment.
•Prior experience with drafting programs and survey data processing programs.
•Prior experience performing boundary research, compilations, determinations, and processing/adjusting survey control.
