Key Responsibilities

•Develop and strengthen executive-level client relationships across California’s water sector and identify opportunities early in the project lifecycle.
•Lead or support pursuit strategies, win themes, and value propositions for major projects, including Go/No-Go decisions and interview preparation.
•Provide senior geotechnical expertise for large-scale dam, tunnel, levee, and conveyance systems while guiding risk, budget, and schedule development.
•Mentor junior engineers and strengthen departmental technical capabilities while representing AECOM at industry forums and client workshops.
•Review and approve engineering deliverables, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and drive technical excellence in complex water infrastructure programs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 175,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field and 10+ years of relevant geotechnical experience or demonstrated equivalency.
•Active California PE license.
