Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead or co-lead sourcing, due diligence, underwriting, approval, onboarding, and ongoing monitoring of private capital investments across private equity, private credit, real assets, co-investments, secondaries, and evergreen structures.
  • •Coordinate development and enhancement of Truist’s private capital platform across bank and brokerage wealth channels, including manager selection, platform construction, product lifecycle management, and advisor support.
  • •Drive business development initiatives through client/prospect/center-of-influence meetings, delivering private equity and private markets presentations, providing education, and supporting RFP responses.
  • •Provide strategic advisory and consulting for private capital portfolio construction, including portfolio reviews, asset allocation assessments, and customized projects.
  • •Represent the Private Capital team as a speaker and subject matter expert at internal and external events across the Truist Wealth footprint, sharing market insights and trends.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in manager research/due diligence of private capital funds, including investment due diligence or hedge fund manager research, covering sourcing, allocation, portfolio construction, and client advisory.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, statistics, economics, or a related field.
  • •Strong knowledge of investment management and manager research/due diligence methods for private capital investments.
  • •Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with proven written and verbal communication to translate complex analysis for audiences.
  • •Excellent investment and analytical skills, including benchmarking, track record, attribution analysis, and understanding of regulatory environment.
