Key Responsibilities

  • •Collect job orders and the necessary tools/equipment and perform repairs and maintenance per manufacturer techniques.
  • •Ensure accurate fault diagnosis, utilize allocated repair time effectively, and report repair delays to the Team Leader.
  • •Ensure additional repairs are authorized, book parts to the repair order, and follow warranty/parts-exchange return procedures.
  • •Service personal tools, keep lifts and the work area clean, and comply with health and safety standards.
  • •Maintain system clocking on/off and write up repair orders as per procedure; return/store unused parts and dispose used parts properly.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma in Automotive Engineering or Industrial Technical Institute (ITI) Auto Technician (2-year vocational course).
  • •2 to 3 years technician experience (for Diploma holders) or 3 to 5 years technician experience (for ITI holders).
  • •Trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills.
  • •In addition to mechanical skills, basic electrical knowledge.
  • •Attend basic technical courses from vehicle manufacturing companies, with additional technical skills an advantage.
