Job Summary

Work with your assigned Line of Business and Risk/Compliance/Audit (RCA) teams to create, implement, maintain, review, or oversee an effective risk management framework. Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, identify gaps that could lead to losses, and respond to or escalate risks. Act as a functional liaison between the Line of Business and the Lines of Defense.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with the assigned Line of Business and RCA professionals/managers to create, implement, maintain, review, or oversee a risk management framework.
•Participate in projects/activities that ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
•Identify gaps and propose solutions to minimize losses from inadequate internal processes, systems, or human errors.
•Identify, respond to, and/or escalate risks as appropriate.
•Serve as a functional liaison between the Line of Business and the Lines of Defense.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
•Typically 2+ years of applicable experience.
•Intermediate knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends affecting the assigned line of business.
•Intermediate understanding of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls.
•Basic knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies, plus strong analytical and project management skills.
