Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate inventory planning requirements to integrate supply chain and operations processes for one or more product service lines.
  • •Gather business outlooks from product service lines and Business Development, and execute the inventory plan against the demand plan to optimize inventory levels.
  • •Review forecasts and replenishment recommendations from inventory planning tools and lead inventory planning meetings.
  • •Ensure actions from inventory planning meetings are executed.
  • •Coach and train Material Control Specialists and, in some cases, serve as team lead for small work groups or project teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Completion of a two-year degree; a four-year undergraduate degree in supply chain, engineering/applied math, finance/accounting, or business is preferred.
  • •Six years of related experience in materials management, including procurement or logistics; or a four-year degree plus 2 years related work experience.
  • •Strong computer skills and analytical abilities to resolve problems.
  • •Experience integrating inventory planning requirements with supply chain and operations processes.
  • •Ability to review forecasts and replenishment recommendations and lead inventory planning meetings.
