Job Summary

Provide field inspection support to engineers and project managers to ensure construction compliance with plans, specifications, contract documents, and applicable codes. Perform inspections on transmission and related construction activities, collect and analyze site data using surveying instruments and test equipment, and produce accurate documentation and technical reports. Serve as a consultant for progress and problem resolution, coordinate with contractors and clients, support risk assessment, and help verify load calculations and change orders.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform field inspections to verify conformance with construction plans, specifications, contract documents, and codified requirements.
•Collect, compile, and analyze site and technical data using drawings, schematics, survey/technical materials, and reports.
•Use survey instruments, metering devices, and test equipment to evaluate site conditions, equipment, materials, layout, alignment, and elevation.
•Verify load calculations and resolve differences in interpretation of contract plans and specifications, including change orders.
•Generate accurate technical reports and documentation (including photographs, sketches, calculations, and diagrams) and coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and clients.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma.
•Minimum 9 years of relevant post-education experience with prior construction inspection experience.

•Essential professional licensure/certification(s).
•Valid state driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR background check.
