Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate and appraise highly complex auto physical damage claims using digital tools, ensuring estimate accuracy under contract terms, company guidelines, and state laws and regulations.
  • •Investigate claim damages by communicating with the insured, internal claims adjusters, and third-party vendors, including potential face-to-face interactions.
  • •Maintain accurate, current claim file documentation for complex claims and manage productivity via desk management, timely follow-ups, and accurate repair plan/timeline mapping.
  • •Review facts of loss and physical damage documentation to determine subrogation opportunities and identify fraud indicators (and refer to Special Investigations Unit as applicable).
  • •Coordinate with vendors and internal partners to resolve high-complexity claims, provide policyholder guidance on coverage/valuation/repair process, and support CAT response operations including possible on-call and outside-normal-hours work.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
  • •2 years of auto appraising experience.
  • •Proficient knowledge of P&C insurance policy contracts and coverages, auto parts distribution process, and claim appraisal process and procedures.
  • •Advanced working knowledge of estimating losses using CCC or similar estimating platforms.
  • •Acquire and maintain an insurance adjuster license within 90 days and 3 attempts.
