Key Responsibilities

•Scale and lead a multilayered SLED organization, mentoring regional managers/directors and senior account executives to achieve operational excellence and predictable execution.
•Architect macro GTM and regional territory strategy across the SLED landscape (West, TOLA, Northeast, Southeast), including talent acquisition and market penetration.
•Develop and anchor executive relationships with State CISOs, CIOs, and Higher Education technology boards to drive trust and deal velocity.
•Maximize cooperative and regional procurement by securing NASPO ValuePoint, Carahsoft SLED contracts, OMNIA Partners, PEPPM, and state master agreements.
•Drive cross-functional alignment with Product, Legal, Security Compliance (StateRAMP, CJIS, FERPA), and Marketing to ensure roadmaps meet public sector demand and optimize resource allocation.

Key Requirements

•12+ years of enterprise software sales in the public sector with at least 5+ years of second-line management experience (managing managers) leading high-growth SLED teams.
•Proven track record scaling a SLED theater from early footprint to $50M+ ARR in a fast-paced cloud or cybersecurity environment.
•Mastery of public procurement and funding processes (SLED RFP/RFI, E-Rate lifecycles, state budget calendars, multi-award contracts).
•Cloud security fluency (CNAPP, CSPM, Vulnerability Management) and familiarity with StateRAMP, CJIS, FERPA, HIPAA.
•Elite regional executive network across State IT leadership, university systems, and public sector channel partners.
