Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead strategy, architecture, and delivery for the AI, data, and analytics platform end to end, including build-versus-buy and model-selection decisions.
  • •Direct chart intelligence extraction engineering: retrospective and prospective risk extraction plus quality/HEDIS extraction using large language models.
  • •Own the internal results API, including accuracy, reliability, and contracts for downstream teams.
  • •Set data warehouse architecture on Azure Synapse and Microsoft Fabric with ingestion from AWS SQL sources and drive BI reporting in Looker.
  • •Oversee risk analytics expertise for Medicare Advantage value determination and lead seven teams through their leaders.

Key Requirements

  • •Track record leading AI and data organizations with enough technical depth to evaluate architecture, model selection, and build-versus-buy decisions.
  • •Deep experience applying machine learning and large language models in production, including retrieval-augmented generation, OCR/document understanding, and clinical NLP.
  • •Experience leading data warehouse and BI functions, with working knowledge of Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric (or comparable) and BI tools such as Looker.
  • •Demonstrated leadership of multiple technical teams and their leaders, setting direction and architecture while granting autonomy for execution.
  • •Working fluency in healthcare risk adjustment, medical coding (ICD), and quality measurement (HEDIS), or ability to reach it quickly.
