Key Responsibilities

•Engineer fire protection in the reference design, including detection, suppression, and alarm systems for modular units and BTM plants.
•Run hydraulic calculations and layouts for hydraulics, coverage, and device placement end to end.
•Develop standardized, repeatable design details fabricated into modules instead of field-built.
•Support permitting and commissioning by answering AHJ questions and passing acceptance tests.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 203,000 - 232,000 annually

•Run your own hydraulic calcs and stand behind them.
•Taken designs through plan review and acceptance testing.
•Know NFPA 13 and 72 well and be able to look up the rest quickly.
•Design for fabrication, not just the code minimum.
